“Living in the Material World” is Olivia Harrison’s book tribute to her husband. For me, immersed as I am in AMERICAN STORY and attuned to the early times we emerged from (times often overlooked) I particularly loved the early photos of Liverpool from the war and then one in particular of the early Beatles. If I couldn’t imagine the life I would have, there was no precedent whatsoever for what happened to John, Paul, George and Ringo. It was like the cultural equivalent of surpassing the speed of light.

And one quote emerged particularly, from his son: “I think the two sides of him allowed hom to do what he needed to do in this life… when he died there was only one side of him…and he was very set, pointed one one goal, and there was no more mischief or up and down.” DHANI HARRISON

There you go. God bless George Harrison.
